NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board are looking to procure a service for delivering face to face GP out of hours sessions. The successful contractor will utilise a Primary Care Centre (PCC) at Prince Charles Hospital, Gurnos, Merthyr Tydfil however the location of the PCC is currently under review and there is a possibility an alternative delivery site may be agreed during the lifetime of the contract. The core requirements would be the following times for the population of Cwm Taf Morgannwg area: — Saturdays and Sundays 9.00-21.00, — all bank holidays 9.00-21.00. However there is optional hours that would add value to the service as below: — Fridays 19.30-24.00, and — Saturdays and Sundays 9.00-24.00, — all bank holidays 9.00-24.00.
