Tender description

The contract involves the haulage and treatment of approximately 18,000 tonnes of mixed recycling (glass, metal and plastic packaging) per annum. The recycling originates from households, and is collected at the kerbside by our crews. It is then transferred to the haulier at Wigan's Waste Transfer Station, and then hauled by the contractor's own facility of treatment, where it is separated into different recyclates suitable for sale to the recycling industry.
