Tender description

We are seeking to develop and deliver a two-year Technical Milking Machine Technician Traineeship, with a third level institution, which is accredited on the National Framework of Qualifications at Level 6, leading to a “Higher Certificate in Engineering in Maintenance Technology” after the two-year programme. The traineeship must be developed in conjunction with Teagasc and the Kildalton Agricultural College in Co. Kilkenny as well as Milk Quality Ireland and must be able to place the participants in a work-placement within the dairy sector with relevant organisations for the full duration of the programme. The traineeship is scheduled to run in 2020 with extension for up to 5 years, subject to the approval of funding from Skillnet Ireland, through the Department of Education and Skills being made available to the ICOS Skillnet. The ICOS Skillnet now invites tenders for the development and delivery of this programme.
