Suffolk County Music Service Concert Tour Summer 2020 A tour operator that can provide the following two tours within the date range Sunday 26th July through to Tuesday 4th August 2020 (inclusive): Tour 1 - Suffolk Youth Wind Orchestra (SYWO) Seven (or eight) day tour with minimum of four (five) overnight stays in hotel accommodation and three (four) concerts, to include indoor and external venues where appropriate. Tour 2 - Suffolk Youth Orchestra (SYO) Eight-day tour with minimum of five overnight stays in hotel accommodation and four indoor concerts. o Costing of tour models will be based on volume of participant numbers, e.g. SYWO might require a shorter than 8-day tour duration if travelling to Southern / Eastern Europe in order to make the tour economically viable. o A staffing to pupil ration of ideally 1:9 will be built into the per-pupil costing.
