Tender description

I am writing to invite you to a supplier day on 15.1.2020 to tell you more about our plans for the replacement of the existing framework 1/208 contract for HEDECS (Highways England Digital Enforcement and Compliance System formerly known as HADECS). The event will be an opportunity for you to update us on the answers to the questions we asked during the previous market engagement last March. The questions were in the advance notice of secondary competition (ANSC)/PIN which is attached for ease of reference. The scope of the replacement HEDECS contract will be for the supply, installation, development of minor enhancements and maintenance services. The contract period is likely to be between 4-6 years with an indicative value of up to 50 000 000 GBP. Highway England are working to a programme to invite tenders during spring 2020 with the award of a new contract(s) in the Autumn of 2020. This will allow Highways England to place orders for installation services for delivery to smart motorway scheme during the summer of 2021.
