Social work services with accommodation

Tender description

East Sussex County Council and our partners will be tendering for supported accommodation and housing-related floating support services during April-June 2020. We would like to invite you to attend this interactive market place event to hear about our proposals to meet local needs across East Sussex, and to contribute to the design of service. The event will consider the challenges faced in East Sussex, explore the emerging vision to meet them, provide an opportunity to share ideas, and provide information about the procurement process. ESCC have been working closely with local housing authority partners, including housing and revenue and benefits teams, clinical commissioning groups, ADASS-recommended leaders of good practice and the design council to better understand local experience and insight to develop opportunities to significantly transform services. This event is targeted at registered social landlords, service providers and stakeholders with an interest in providing supported accommodation and floating support for working age adults and older people with housing-related and welfare, benefit and debt advice support needs. This will include provision of supported accommodation to homeless people in the following categories: (i) young people, aged 16-25; (ii) young parents, aged 16-25 with under 5s; (iii) adults with mental health needs; (iv) adults with other complex needs; (v) families, including families deemed as ‘intentionally homeless’.
