Refurbishment and modification of existing bungalow.

Tender description

This project consists of the refurbishment and modification of an existing bungalow. It will include the following: A full electrical re-wire, including all sockets, switches and light fittings, together with a new smoke detection system in accordance with Part (B) of the building regulations 2017 and all other elements contained on the attached M&E drawing. A full replacement of the plumbing system, both internally and externally. A new heating system, with an air-to-water boiler. The house will be upgraded to achieve an energy rating of A2, by replacing and upgrading the insulation to the walls and roof, together with a new heating system and windows. The internal wall and ceilings will be removed and replaced to the specification on the drawings. The external walls (single-skin) timber frame, will be stripped back and built back up to the specification on the drawings. The external windows and doors will be removed and replaced with new ones, as set out on the attached drawings. The fascias, soffits & gutters will be removed and replaced with new ones to the specification on the drawings. The second fix carpentry and sanitary ware will be removed and replaced. The external footpaths will be removed and replaced, as per the drawings. The house will be fully redecorated, including new floor and wall finishes.
