Tender description

The purpose of this prior information notice is to request expressions of interest from the market in participating in a market engagement exercise for the provision of temporary agency resources and associated recruitment services i.e. agency workers, admin roles, operational roles, technical roles, seasonal roles, specialist roles and recruitment services, etc. This market engagement exercise will help inform the Council of the best procurement strategy for the services i.e. number of lots, type of lots, considerations for specification, T&C's and pricing. The current contract the Council is due to expire on 30.9.2020. The Council has a recurring need for temporary agency resource throughout the year for: — short term cover at short notice without which front-line, customer-facing service delivery would be adversely affected, — interim seasonal cover, — to cover established posts which are vacant and are awaiting the outcome of a council recruitment and selection exercise, — to cover for short-term upsurges in workload and/or unexpected events which are over and above establishment.
