Tender description

The Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) wish to hold supplier engagement sessions. The purpose of the exercise is to enhance the knowledge of Health and Social Care Trusts (HSC) in respect of market developments within the recruitment sector; specifically recruitment of nursing and medical staff on an international scale. The HSC welcomes engagement with suppliers who are experienced in recruiting internationally for nurses and/or medical staff, to learn of; successful strategies for recruiting nurses/medical staff, methods and tools currently used for successful recruitment and emerging/future recruitment approaches/trends. The information gained from the supplier engagement sessions will assist the HSC in mapping out their requirements as part of a new tender exercise in 2020. The market engagement is expected to take place in January/February 2020 at PaLS Boucher Crescent office, Belfast (BT12 6HU) and will consist of a number of supplier engagement sessions. Sessions will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Each supplier will be allocated a 1-1,5 hours session with the HSC during which they will be required to present their information. There will also be an opportunity for some discussion to ensure the HSC get the maximum benefit from the exercise. It is likely the HSC will only be able to facilitate 2 full days of supplier engagement sessions, therefore places will be limited and it may not be possible to accommodate all interested suppliers. PaLS will then notify the relevant suppliers in January of the dates the HSC wish to conduct the supplier engagement session and will provide a more detailed brief to better explain the current challenges faced by the HSC to enable suppliers to tailor their presentation accordingly.
