Tender description

The Council invited suitably interested, qualified and experienced parties (‘Tenderers’) to participate in a tender exercise to establish a contract for the provision of physiotherapy services. The successful tenderer is required to provide the services described below and in the Tender Specification via the in-house Occupational Health Unit. The successful service provider is required to supply the services to other local authorities/schools in accordance with the contract.The Occupational Health Unit is comprised of an Occupational Health Physician, Occupational Health Nurse Advisors, Physiotherapists and a Business Support Team. The service is managed by the Occupational Health Business Manager on a day to day basis and provides a service to the Council’s employees and a range of Public Sector partners, totalling in the region of 10 000 individuals working across a wide range of trades and professions; including manual and administrative services.
