VEX EDR Robotics programme for post primary schools in Offaly. The programme is to be delivered in 12 post primary schools and each school will be provided with two VEX V5 Competition Starter Kit robots to participate in the competition (24 Robots). Each school shall have 6 visits over the course of the training. There will be six teacher training days provided and this will be hosted in Offaly County Council, Aras an Chontae, Charleville road, Tullamore, Co.Offaly. Offaly Local Development Company shall be provided with three VEX V5 Competition Starter Kit robots and two arenas and games (2 arenas + 6 games) for display and training. Staff will be trained up in the engineering, construction and programming of these robots up to the teacher’s standard. Support to be provided at the Offaly championships
