Tender description
The purpose of this PIN notice for patient delivery systems and bodyworn devices project is to engage with the emerging market of next-generation routine monitoring and diagnostic wireless/bluetooth body worn devices for patient monitoring. The focus is on connectivity and digital technology of medical diagnostic equipment. This technology fits in the ‘undiagnosed condition monitoring’ area of patient health in secondary care to facilitate for diagnosis/next steps, and is expected to alter care settings, improve patient throughput and patient experiences. The technology also covers a wide array of clinical settings (maternity, neonatal, ECT/ECG stress monitoring) with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth devices, patients can walk around the hospital setting whilst being constantly monitored without taking up a bay or a chair whilst this takes place. The digitised information will be captured on a patient’s health record. Please note that an expression of interest in delivering the patient delivery systems and bodyworn devices with wireless and bluetooth connectivity (Plus Associated Consumables and Software) is not a tender response.
