Tender description

NPL requires 2 fully stabilized frequency combs and both repetition rate (f_rep) and carrier envelope offset (f_ceo) are locked to a hydrogen maser at NPL. The 2 combs should meet the technical specifications listed in Section 2. The end users should be able to control the parameters of the combs not only on the operation panel, but also remotely via an ethernet connection. NPL will lock these 2 combs coherently through a CW laser so that the linewidth of the dual comb spectrum should be < 1 Hz. NPL will use these combs for dual-comb spectroscopy and dual-comb ranging application.
