Aston University are looking to procure a Cyber-Physical Factory The Cyber-Physical Factory would be a substantial simulator of industry 4.0 training factory manufacturing line, which would ensure training from Level 3 to post-graduate research and can also support the fields of automation, assembly lines, logistics, production planning, lean and quality assurance. It must be modular in design so will be as flexible to suit different training and research needs. Support of guided vehicles and robotics, all types of interaction with new technology is also required.
