Tender description
Wakefield Council’s Public Health Commissioning for Prevention Team is preparing to develop the service specification for the contract for sexual health services across Wakefield District which will commence on 1.10.2021. As part of this preparation, commissioners are keen to engage with a number of potential providers in addition to the Councils incumbent service providers of sexual health services in order to understand market capability which will assist commissioners to develop the service specification. Offering equitable access across the district, Outreach, Psychosexual Counselling, Clinical Governance. Provision offering a full range of level 1 and level 2 contraception, STI testing and access to treatment and HIV Prevention and Support, Community engagement and health promotion. Consideration should be given to the role of Primary Care and Community Pharmacy in addition to other community based providers.
