Tenders are invited for the supply of services in respect of bus station facilities management. With over 14 000 000 people using Derby bus station every year, the site forms a key asset in the cities public transport network. The bus station is open for business for between 17-19 hours a day, 363 days a year with over 115 buses departing the site during the busiest hour. To ensure people feel confident to use bus services it is essential that the bus station is kept clean and secure. Since the bus station opened in March 2010 a service provider has provided cleaning, security and information office services on site. The current contract is now coming to an end and we are therefore seeking to retender the work. Tenders are invited for the supply of services in respect of bus station facilities management. The estimated total value is based on estimated maximum annual average spend, estimated increase in contract duration, and the contract is for up to 5 years. Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated in the procurement documents. Please note suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation must do so by 12.00 on 24.1.2020. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response. The deadline for returns is 12.00 on 27.1.2020.
