City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Department of Health and Wellbeing will be tendering for a Provider who will deliver a service to people with identified care needs, disabled people and their carers that delivers the following: • Develop a database of information on holidays and short breaks that are accessible for disabled people • Support for disabled people and their carers who can self fund to plan for holidays • Support for organisations to provide a wide and innovative range of opportunities and options for disabled people and their carers to take a break • Provides an alternative to respite in a care home for people with identified social care needs and their carers using their personal budget • Works with businesses to offer free or reduced rates to disabled people and their carers Keywords: Adult social care
