Tender description

The Faculty of ASET (Applied Science, Engineering & Technology) at Limerick Institute of Technology has identified a need for machinery items which will be utilised in providing Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship trade programmes. The equipment that is the subject of this tender is part of the equipment required to deliver Version 4 of the above carpentry and Joinery syllabus. The requirement is divided in three (3) Lots of equipment. Tenderers may apply for one or more of the Lots but must be in a position to supply each and every piece of equipment outlined within the lot/lots applied for. It is envisaged that Lots 1 and 2 will be awarded in 2019. Lot 3 most likely will be awarded in the first quarter of 2020. The award of each/all lots is subject to funding. LIT reserve the right to decide on how such lots will be awarded.
