Tender description

This tender is to establish framework for the supply of total patient temperature management products which encompasses products and devices to maintain patients body temperature before, during and after surgical procedure. The successful tenderer will be expected to provide free of charge supporting services such as training, education, clinical support, reporting and cost reduction initiatives. The tender will consist of 5 individual lots as below: Lot 1: Patient warming systems and consumables; Lot 2: Fluid warming system and consumables; Lot 3: Warming mattress and consumables; Lot 4: Continuous patient temperature management/accessories. All bidders are encouraged to bid for all lots. The duration of the framework agreement will be 4 years maximum; 2 years initial period with the option to extend by 2 periods of 12 months each. This lot will cover the access to patient warming systems and consumables. The successful tenderer should provide a full product offering which meets the following characteristics: Heating units and consumables used with blankets and jackets/gowns to maintain patients body temperature before, during and after surgical procedure. Please be advised this lot will cover the heating units, blankets, jackets/gowns and consumables for supply of total patient temperature management. This will allow the Trusts with the tools to complete a whole surgical procedure within this lot. The products which are included in the scope of this lot are: Heating units Warming blankets Warming gowns/jackets Hoses and other accessories, consumables Terms and conditions/activity based income (ABI). The terms an conditions of this framework agreement and any resulting call-off contract is appended to the ITT. These terms include provisions requiring the payment by the supplier of an ABI management charge in consideration of the award of this framework agreement, the management and administration by HTE of the overall contract structure and associated documentation, as well as the requirement to submit regular management information to HTE. Submission of expressions of interest and procurement information This exercise will be conducted on the HTE Bravo portal.
