To ensure that the Coordinated Local Aquaculture Management System (CLAMS) continues to serve as a useful and relevant operational process to coordinate the sustainable development of aquaculture in Ireland, the contracting authority now wishes to commission a Nationwide Review to ensure that aquaculture interests at local level are aligned to all relevant national policies, including the recently launched National Marine Planning Framework, Climate Action Plan, Climate Adaptation Report, the Clean Oceans initiative and all other related national and European policy and regulatory measures.
