Tender description

An Post is seeking to enter into a Single Party Framework Agreement for the following the Supply of Multi Currency Fraudulent Note Detector and Counter. An Post is the largest supplier of FX note sales in Ireland, and is seeking to expand its Foreign Exchange business, through the introduction of a new Note Buyback service. Foreign Exchange services are available in c940 Post Offices. The purpose of this tender is to purchase devices that will allow for detection of any fraudulent notes and counting when presented for exchange at Post Office counters. The note detection devises must be able to detect fraudulent notes in the following currencies, Euro, US Dollars and Sterling, with the capability to detect other currencies as requested by An Post.
