SmartPly invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for Engineering Design, Supply, installation and commissioning of Fire Protection Systems for this project.

Tender description

The general scope required is all inclusive for the detailed design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection systems for SmartPly Renewal Project. The candidates must confirm they have the resources and capability to Design to FM, NFPA and VDE Standards. Phase 1 – March 2020 1) Existing processing plant & equipment will still be operational & fire protected. The sections of the existing system that need to be modified/removed will have to be planned & managed accordingly. 2) Tie into existing sprinkler system. 3) Design, supply, installation & testing of new 250mm Underground fire main extension Phase 2 – Commencing October 2020 4) Valve room A – Control Valve Manifold to incorporate: a. Dry screen equipment & conveyors. b. Substituted load (W1). c. Dryer drum (W2). d. Material separation cyclone (W3). e. Clean gas duct (W4) f. Return air duct (W5). 5) Valve room A – Sprinkler system from valve room A 6) Fire Dump 1 – Automatic Deluge Type Sprinkler System. 7) Fire Dump 2 - Automatic Deluge Type Sprinkler System. 8) Wet Bin – Automatic Dry type Sprinkler System. 9) Supply feed to Dry Screen equipment from valve room A – (Conveyors, disc screen, dosing Bin and Oscillating Screen). 10) Supply feed to Substitute Load from valve room A– including Trace Heating and lagging. 11) Supply feed to Dryer Drum including Trace Heating and lagging from valve room A. 12) Supply feed to material separation cyclone including Trace Heating and lagging from valve room A. 13) Supply feed to clean gas duct including Trace Heating and lagging from valve room A. 14) Supply feed to Return air duct including Trace Heating and lagging from valve room A. 15) Valve room B/Sprinkler Room – Control Valve Manifold for: a.
