Tender description

Regional authorities are currently facing a shortage of dementia care beds. Walsall Council has experienced challenges in placing service users with these specific needs in the Borough of Walsall and particularly in the West of the Borough where there is little or no provision available to meet demands. The Council therefore wishes to procure 36 beds as an incremental block booking from a single home in the Borough of Walsall to meet the individual needs of those service users who are eligible at the Council’s usual rates. The requirement is based on the Council’s usual residential with specialisms per service user per week rate which is currently set at 535 93 GBP (excluding FNC) and the nursing with specialisms per service user per week rate which is currently set at 589 52 GBP (excluding FNC).
