Tender description

Tenderers should note that the goods required pursuant to this competition are set out as two (2) Lots. The Board of Management of Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn endeavours to choose environmentally friendly goods where possible, making an important contribution to sustainable consumption and production – Green Public Procurement (GPP) or green purchasing. The furniture proposed should be sustainable where possible, from the raw materials used, to manufacturing, through to its life being used and its repairability during its use and its end of life. It is a requirement that the tenderer can demonstrate their knowledge of the items they proposes’, green and sustainable life cycle and how they undertake to screen their suppliers of the items they do not manufacture in relation to green and sustainable strategies. Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn will draw down goods from the preferred supplier(s) as suits their needs. Please note, time is of the essence.
