Tender description

Derby City Council (‘the Council’) is procuring a new contract for the processing of dry mixed recyclables (DMR). The Council requires a contractor to provide a Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) for the receipt and processing of DMR, and associated services such as marketing of the output materials. The contract will comprise a 3-year initial term, commencing on 1.4.2020, with 2 possible extensions, each of 1-year duration (3 + 1 + 1). It is anticipated that the Council will require sorting capacity for approximately 20 000 tonnes per annum of DMR.
