Tender description

The project is intended to support the operation and enhancement of the Historic Environment Farm Environment Record (HEFER) web portal (https://www.myshinedata.org.uk/) during the period 2020-2023. The portal is used by Historic England and ALGAO to provide historic environment advice to prospective applicants, Natural England (NE) and the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) on Countryside Stewardship (CS) applications. The portal also manages and provides access to the national Selected Heritage Inventory for Natural England (SHINE) dataset of undesignated heritage assets on behalf of local authority historic environment services.
