To procure the care provision within the 3 PFI extra care schemes. The Council currently commissions the care provision within 3 PFI extra care schemes within the city. The schemes are independent living facilities, ranging from 75 – 175 units of 1 and 2 bedded apartments. The buildings are designed to predominantly meet the needs of adults aged 55 years and above, some of whom have varying degrees of disabilities.
