Tender description
This new acrylamide and furans surveillance monitoring of UK retail products will contribute to the FSA’s strategic aim to ensure food is safe and reduce the risk to consumers from contaminated food. Data gathered will be made available to allow consumers to make informed choices about what to eat. The monitoring of acrylamide and furan levels in retail food is part of the wider area of research into chemical contaminants in foods in the contaminants policy area.
