Tender description

Public Health England (‘PHE’) is seeking to award a contract to Oracle Corporation UK Ltd; using the negotiated procedure without prior publication —Regulation 33(1)(b)(ii) ‘competition is absent for technical reasons’. PHE’s current UK hosted Oracle e-Business Suite comprises the core of PHE’s corporate IT systems. Oracle’s support for e-Business Suite ends in 2021. Consequently, PHE must upgrade its corporate systems. PHE intends to award a contract to Oracle for Oracle Cloud as this is the only solution that meets PHE’s business requirements and: (a) is hosted in the UK; and (b) meets the UK Cabinet Office’s recommendations for ERP software. Up to 7 years licensing of Oracles Cloud based ERP software.
