Tender description

Public Health England (PHE) is planning to award a contract for the provision of a gas-controlled incubator, custom robotics and associated software from Analytik Jena (UK) Ltd. PHE will be sourcing an atmospherically controlled CLARIOstar Plus and a plate stacker from BMG Labtech, as this is the only such system in the market capable of meeting PHE’s specific requirement of fluorescence and luminescence detection performed by the patented linear variable filter monochromator incorporating a linear variable dichroic mirror. Incorporated into the system will also be a robotic system manufactured by Analytik Jena. This system will consist of a custom-built robot capable of transferring multi-well plates from a gas-controlled incubator to a gas controlled Clariostar and back again. Analytik Jena is the commercial partner of BMG Labtech, and for commercial reasons PHE is obliged to purchase the aforementioned equipment direct from Analytik Jena.
