Tender description

Initial procurement of a C-130J carbon brakes and wheels solution for full fleet embodiment across the RAF C-130J. Including the provision of required installation kits, containers, mandated documentation and overarching support for the successful release to service. The initial procurement of a carbon brakes and Wheels modification for full fleet fit across the RAF C-130J. The procurement includes the purchase of up to 18 x shipsets of the carbon brake and Wheel assemblies, up to 24 x spare wheels, equipment advice for proof installation and 1st fit activities, supporting documentation for release to service (RTS) including certificates of conformity, information regarding the refurbishment processes and advice regarding the disposal of the system. Costed Options are also requested including a potential buy back opportunity for surplus installation kits components, the provision of special type containers, refurbishment programme costs and ongoing technical advice/support. The provision of the above will support a successful RTS across the RAF C-130J fleet.
