Air Handling Unit in Biotech for Autoclave

Tender description

The Agency has identified that a Biotech Autoclave requires supply and extract within the installation room to prevent odours escaping from the room and entering the lab next door. An extract grille will need to be fitted directly above the autoclave and another grille positioned to capture odours directly from the front door. In addition to the main extract, points of extract are to be installed above three of the bench top autoclaves and ducted into the main extract duct. The room will need to run at -35Pa relative to the corridor which runs at approximately -30. Commissioning will need to take place out of hours. A full understanding will be discussed during the site visit. Those contractors that are selected to tender will be asked to show examples of their works on similar related projects that they have previously undertaken and is to include a site visit by key members of the project team.
