WP3483 - Resettlement Support for Syrian Refugees

Tender description

Walsall Council (the Council) is seeking to commission a service to support Syrian persons (referred to in this document as individuals) who are accommodated in Walsall as part of the national Syrian Resettlement Programme. The service will be required for 20 individuals, who have already received up to 2 years of support since arriving in Walsall. These individuals arrived into Walsall in 2 cohorts in March 2017 and June 2017. 1The overall \"Programme of support\" is for 3 years support, from June 2019 to June 2022. The service will consist of casework support, building on the support that has already been provided to the individuals, enabling them to move to fully independent living on or before the end of the contract period. This is to help with language skills, education, health and social care, assistance with employment, sustainability of tenancy, and continued integration within the Walsall community.
