TC063 - HSR Traffic Management and Verge Maintenance Tender 2019-21

Tender description

The Borough Council of Bolton (the “Authority”) is looking for a suitable Provider to provide traffic management controls on highways that the Authority regards as requiring such controls together with grass cutting and litter/flytip removal services, with further optional services of hedge cutting and weed-spraying (the “Services”). Channel and pavement sweeping services will be provided by the Authority’s in-house service which shall be carried out in conjunction with the services required from the successful Tenderer. However, the Authority may opt for some sweeping services to be carried out by the Provider.The Authority needs to ensure competitive pricing coupled with a quality service delivery. To achieve this the Authority is looking for a provider who it can work with to maximise safety, efficiency and advise on the most effective ways of working on high speed roads.
