South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced provider of the above Services South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive has an obligation to carry out measurements of the rail height to ensure that the tram rails embedded in the road are level with the surrounding concrete. The scope of this contract is to carry out measurements of the rail height in the areas affected by the current phase of the embedded rail replacement ('the works') taking place over three years; 2018 to 2020. The 2018 works have now been completed. The survey is necessary to comply with the specification in that the tram rails embedded in the road are level with the surrounding concrete. The Surveying Company will be given full access to the SLMT-D measuring trolleys owned by the Executive. Alternatively, the survey may be carried out using the Surveying Company's own equipment providing the data is presented in the required format.
