Tender description

The current contract to supply concrete sleepers is due to expire Mar 19 and a new supply for the manufacture of concrete products is required. TFL will be seeking to award a contract for the Manufacture of sleepers and concrete products to London Underground and Tramlink. It is expected that a manufacturing facility will be available Mid to late 2020 and that a period for product approval and plant mobilisation will be required. This PIN aims to identify the interest in the market and confirm a list of potential suppliers. The purpose of the procurement will be to award a contract through competitive tender for the long term supply of concrete sleepers as outlined. The supply of LU standard Concrete Sleepers 10 000 to 20 000 per annum. The supply of LU Special sleepers (Check Bearers, Train Stops, etc.) 100 to 1000 per annum. This PIN seeks to confirm Suppliers interested in the supply of Lot 1 or Lot 2 or both under single contracts.
