Tender description

As part of its PEACE IV Building Positive Relations programme, Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is seeking a facilitator to manage a cross-community project aimed at increasing awareness of the roots, course and impact of the 1798 rebellion and the foundation/impact of the Society of United Irishmen in County Down, as part of the Shared History and Cultural Programme. The objective is to involve the local community in a programme of workshops, visits and a conference which will enable them to investigate the shared history of this area. The project is supported by the PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
