Tender description

Providing healthy and good quality catering services under a Framework Agreement at Nurture Trust Primary Schools in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a contractor to provide school meals from September 2019. The Framework Agreement and contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with 2 optional 1 year extensions. The bidding contractors must be able to show a proven track record of operating similar contracts within budgets and guidelines. There are currently the following pupil numbers on roll: — Lapage Primary School, KS1 — 264 and KS2 — 363, — Denholme Primary School, KS1 — 95 and KS2 — 114, — Byron Primary School, KS1 — 270 and KS2 — 360, — Parkwood Primary School, KS1 — 90 and KS2 — 121, — Victoria Primary School, KS1 — 130 and KS2 — 155. A further primary school within the Trust — Fearnville Primary School, KS1 — 147 and KS2 — 217 has a contract in place until 31.8.2020 and therefore would look to join the Framework Agreement from 1.9.2019. Any new schools joining the Trust would have the option to join the framework at any time without completing a formal tender process, joining on the same broad terms. You must be able to show an innovative approach to providing a school meal service, in line with healthy eating and sourcing fresh local produce. Note: the site visits will take place week commencing 11.2.2019 as follows: — Victoria Primary School 11:00 am–12:30 pm 11.2.2019 with opportunity to meet and put questions to Nurture Academies Trust Chief Financial Officer, — Parkwood Primary School 11:15 am–12:30 pm 12.2.2019, — Byron Primary School 11:30 am–12:30 pm 13.2.2019, — Fearnville Primary School 01:00 pm–01:30 pm 13.2.2019, — Denholme Primary School 11:45 pm–01:00 pm 14.2.2019, — Lapage Primary School 11:00 am–12:30 pm 15.2.2019. Note: Deadline for return of tender is midday Friday 8.3.2019. Please note this tender falls under the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
