Tender description

The successful service provider notified under this notice purchases and recovers glass bottles and jars collected by the District Councils of Mid-Devon, North Devon, East Devon, Torridge and Exeter City Council (Devon Authorities). The service also entails the haulage of waste material by the service provider's nominated haulier from the Devon Authorities' stockpiles to the Service provider's waste processing plant. This procurement was undertaken offering 5 service lots to be priced for. No tenders were received for service lots 2 to 4 (See II.2.1 above). Service Lot 1 entailed the haulage of Devon Authorities' glass bottles and jars for which the Authority did received a tender; Service lot 5 entailed the purchase and recovery of Devon Authorities' glass bottles and jars. The successful tenderer notified under this notice is awarded both service lots 1 and 5.
