Tender description

Description of the procurement: the rights to publish, jointly with DVSA, the official editions of DVSA's resources and works, as well as The Official Highway Code in English and Welsh and The Highway Code for Northern Ireland. The customer for the Highway Code Northern Ireland will be the Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) an executive Agency of the Department for Infrastructure. The Contractor will be required to invoice the DVA directly for their requirement. Description of the procurement: the rights to publish, jointly with DVSA, the official editions of our resources and works, as well as The Official Highway Code in English and Welsh and The Highway Code for Northern Ireland. To develop, with DVSA’s approval, new products/formats from DVSA’s and Open Government Licence content: writing or commissioning new content. May include working with external partners to promote the standards in new, effective ways. A concession will be granted to trade in and promote publishing and associated products and activities with DVSA using its brand, the Official Highway Code and other Crown copyright works, including those developed by the partnership. All intellectual properties in products developed belong to DVSA except copyright, which belongs to The Crown or The Queen’s Printer and Controller of HMSO.
