Tender description

NHS England will work in partnership with patients and the public, to improve patient safety, patient experience and health outcomes; supporting people to live healthier lives. By prioritising the needs of those who experience the poorest health outcomes, NHS England has more power to improve access to services, reduce health inequalities in communities and make better use of resources. Participation (sometimes referred to as engagement or involvement) can take place in a variety of ways. This requirement focuses on the setting up and facilitation of Health Councils within prisons to encourage patients within the secure estate are able to “participate” in consultation. The services required within this lot are the same as the services described within the description. The lot will include Cumbria and the North East and cover the following prisons: — HMP Durham, — HMYOI Deerbolt, — HMP Frankland, — HMP Haverigg, — HMP Holme House, — HMP Kirklevington Grange, — HMPYOI Low Newton, — HMP Northumberland. The services required within this lot are the same as the services described within the short description. The lot will cover North West England and include the following prisons: — HMP Altcourse, — HMP Buckley Hall, — HMP Forest Bank, — HMP Garth, — HMP Hindley, — HMP Kirkham, — HMP Lancaster, — HMP Liverpool, — HMP Manchester, — HMP Preston, — HMP Risley, — HMP Styal, — HMP Thorn Cross, — HMP Wymott. The services required within this lot are the same as the services described within the short description. The lot will cover Yorkshire and Humber and include the following prisons: — HMP Askham Grange, — HMP Doncaster, — HMP Full Sutton, — HMP Hatfield, — HMP Hull, — HMP Humber, — HMP Leeds, — HMP Lindholme, — HMP Moorland, — HMP Newhall, — HMP Wakefield, — HMP Wealstun, — HMPYOI Wetherby.
