Tender description

The procurement will deliver an adult community support service to learning disability, physical disability and mental health client groups. The procurement scope will encompass services currently known as Community Supports, 24Hr Support, Housing Support and Supported living services. Care at home is not included. Services will be delivered in a community setting, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, inclusive of sleepovers and waking nights, to adults aged 16 and over who have been assessed by North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership as requiring a service. Services will be delivered by a flexible framework contract model. The contract term will be for a total of six (6) years. The term will be an initial two (2) year period, followed by 2 further extension periods of 2 years. Providers will be invited to join the Flexible Framework at the 2 year break periods through a formal tender process. As current purchase is included TUPE may apply to the procurement.
