Tender description
This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advertise an early market engagement only. Publication and call for competition will be conducted at a later date. DFID is seeking a supplier or suppliers to support delivery of the Good Governance Fund (GGF) programme. The GGF is a programme portfolio jointly delivered by the Department for International Development (DFID) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). It is funded through the UK’s Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) with all funds designated as Official Development Assistance (ODA). Within HMG, the GGF is managed collaboratively between a London-based Joint Unit (JU) and UK Embassies in beneficiary countries. This opportunity is anticipated to be for 2 years. There may be an option to extend. This will be confirmed in the call to competition. As will the total value. This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to advertise an early market engagement event only. Publication and call for competition will be conducted at a later date. DFID is launching a procurement to source partner or partners to support delivery of the Good Governance Fund (GGF) programme. The Good Governance Fund seeks to provide a mixed portfolio of high-quality and flexible technical assistance projects in the GGF’s target countries which are responsive to beneficiary needs and responsive to HMG priorities and objectives. The GGF was originally targeted to support five countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine). Armenia and Macedonia were added to the GGF portfolio in April 2018, and there remains the possibility of expansion into other countries in the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership within the lifetime of the programme. The Early Market Engagement event will provide an opportunity for suppliers to learn more about the planned programme. The objectives of the event are: 1) Generate awareness of the opportunity across the supply base; 2) Give suppliers an opportunity to discuss the project and/or procurement process; 3) Seek feedback on the capacity and capability of the supply base; 4) Provide a networking opportunity for a diverse range of suppliers who may be interested in bidding for the project. Further details for the procurement will be advertised via the DFID supplier portal in due course. The Early Market Engagement Event will be held on Wednesday the 6th February at 14:30 UK time and will be held in the following location. Foreign and Commonwealth Office, King Charles Street, LONDON, SW1A 2AH. A dial-in question and answer session will be arranged for partners unable to attend this event, with details issued through the portal in due course. Partners are encouraged to join the EME exercise which will present a more interactive opportunity to explore how HMGs needs can best be met. Parties interested in attending this event or requiring any further information must first register interest in this programme via the DFID Supplier Portal (https://supplierportal.dfid.gov.uk/selfservice/) where details on how to register to attend the event are available in the attachments. The supplier portal will be the main communication channel for this programme. To be confirmed. To be confirmed. To be confirmed. To be confirmed. To be confirmed. To be confirmed. To be confirmed.
