Tender description

The works under this contract are to include for (but not limited to) the servicing, maintenance, testing and inspections, emergency call out, alterations, breakdown and repairs and full installations of mechanical and electrical services within Council owned/occupied buildings in the Bath and North East Somerset area of operations. The works under this contract are to include for (but not limited to) the servicing, maintenance, testing and inspections, emergency call-out, alterations, breakdown and repairs and full installations of mechanical services within Council owned/occupied buildings in the Bath and North East Somerset area of operations. The key components of the framework contract are to provide the contractual basis for the following: — maintenance and servicing: undertaking planned maintenance works together with regular and systematic servicing of installations, — inspections and testing: the regular inspection and testing of installations, — breakdown and repair works: the carrying out of all necessary breakdown and repair works, — alterations: adapting and altering existing installations, — new mechanical installations: the provision of new installations in new or existing buildings, — provision of technical advice. This PIN is to notify the market that a market engagement session will be held in central Bath week commencing 18th February. In order to ensure that the council complies with regulations under Section 20, of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 appropriate notification will be issued.
