Tender description

Caledonia Housing Association (CHA) own and operate biomass-fired district heating schemes at West Heather Road: Inverness — IV2 4WS and Assynt Road: Inverness — IV3 8QL. CHA is seeking four offers, as follows: — Offer A: to purchase the assets, supply heat into each property and undertake the efficiency improvements works, — Offer B: to purchase the assets, supply heat from the biomass plant rooms and undertake the efficiency improvements works, — Offer C: to supply heat into each property and undertake the efficiency improvements works, — Offer D: to supply heat from the biomass plant rooms and undertake the efficiency improvements works. CHA reserve the right not to make any contract award or to choose any of the four possible offers upon which to make an award. Contractors are encouraged to submit all four offers, but a tender offer will be valid for any single offer made. The contract will be for both schemes and there will not be separate lots.
