Tender description

Highways England (HE) has a requirement to deliver construction works to maintain, repair and renew the Strategic Road Network (SRN) within HE Area 10. Construction Works Framework (CWF) will be made up of a number of different contractors from different specialist areas who will work together to deliver network improvement and maintenance schemes within Area 10. The framework will cover but not limited to — Civil engineering works including earthworks; fencing, landscaping; road restraints; drainage and ducts; pavements, kerbs, footways, paved areas; traffic signs and markings; road lighting and electrical work for lighting; structures — piling and retention walls and structural concrete; waterproofing; painting; and any other similar duties. Highways England may use this framework to deliver works in HE Area 13 from 2021/22. Highways England may also use this framework to deliver works in any other HE operational area as a contingent measure. Supply of Materials, Plant and labour for the installation OF: • Removal and commissioning of road lighting • Illuminated signs and other highway electrical equipment • The scope may also include rapid response.
