Cash collection, transportation, counting and banking service

Tender description

Provision of a cash collection, secure transportation, secure counting and banking service. Coins only (not notes). Cash collection from car park parking machines (No. = 56) , public convenience paddlegates (No. = 6) and Council premises (No. = 2). Please note , these figures are indicative and are subject to change. Frequency of collections to be determined. Proposed length of contract is five years with the option of extending for an additional five further years. Procurement through OJEU. Timeframe of procurement to be determined but posting of OJEU noticed estimated as 04/03/2019. Approach to market date / date of contract close (in Section 1 above) is the indicative date that the OJEU notice will be posted. Contact minimum cost is indicative and would apply to a five plus five year contract (i.e. ten years). Actual costs may be below this threshold and will be determined by a range of factors including frequency of collections. These details will be provided at OJEU stage. Please submit expressions of interest before 5.00pm on 04/03/2019 to procurement@stratford-dc.gov.uk.
