THE PROVISION OF FUNERAL SERVICES

Tender description

The Council has a statutory duty to make funeral arrangements where the deceased has no immediate family or it has not been possible to make contact with the family to organise the funeral. We therefore require the service provider to make the necessary arrangements to remove the body of a client in a timely, sanitary and sensitive manner and to arrange the funeral in accordance with the know wishes of the client, where appropriate.
