Round 2 - GMCA Fast Track Digital Workforce Fund Grant Application

Tender description

The Fast Track Digital Workforce Fund is a £3 million, joint venture between the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and the Lancashire Digital Skills Partnership (LDSP) and aims to help employers, in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire areas, to address their specialist digital skills needs through short, innovative, bespoke training courses. The aim of the £3m 'Fast Track' Fund is to help local employers, in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire areas recruit to hard to fill vacancies through specialist digital skills provision. The fund will see Government invest alongside industry in programmes that address locally identified digital skills gaps and bring together consortia of employers and training providers (including colleges and universities) to co-design and co-deliver them. The fund is seeking applications from consortia who can work together to co-design and co-deliver creative approaches to addressing digital skills gaps faced by employers. These can be existing or new collaborations and can consist of any combination of employers, training providers, Colleges, Universities, other community or charity organisations. The fund will be open for the first round of applications in the GMCA & Lancashire LEP areas from Monday 2nd December to Friday 31st January. Keywords: Skills, Digital, Learning, Employment, Education
