Tender description
UCC Library currently has a Self-Service circulation system based on Electromagnetic (EM) ‘tattle-tape’ technology. As part of a separate project, we have recently re-tagged approximately 350K items with RFID tags and are therefore looking to upgrade our Self-Service circulation system to RFID technology. This will replace existing Self-Service Kiosks, Tattle Desensitizers and Security Gates with RFID solutions. We also require a hybrid RFID and EM Security Gate for our Special Collections and Archives area in the Boole Library to replace the existing EM Security Gate.
